Founder & Director

Catherine Lee

Catherine is a student and writer based in Toronto. She founded the Creative Coterie in her junior year in hopes of building a supportive community of young storytellers; she believes she was successful. Catherine's work has been recognized by the Young Voices Magazine, the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and the Iowa Young Writers' Studio. She cannot begin to express the gratitude and admiration she has for her team!

Myah Rathi Litteljohn

Myah loves writing about the secret worlds hidden within her characters. These worlds may be fantastical, but they are often rooted in real life emotions and relationships. When she’s not writing or reading, she enjoys listening to Phoebe Bridgers and drawing. She is thrilled to be a part of The Creative Coterie and is looking forward to reading submissions for Project Metamorphosis!

Kaitlyn Chang

Kaitlyn is a 10th grade student in Leaside High School who enjoys making art and designing with 3 years of yearbook experience. In her free time, she loves playing video games such as Undertale, Breath of the Wild, Metroid Dread and Hollow Knight.

Arshia Shaik is a Grade 10 student from York Mills Collegiate institute. She enjoys drawing and reading.

Priya is a first year in university, studying engineering. She loves books, and she's currently reading Dune.

Katerina Doukas is a teen author from Toronto, Canada. She's an avid writer, but when she isn't lost in her own make-believe worlds you can find her listening to music, drawing, playing the piano or whatever retro video games she can get her hands on.

Victoria Nicholson is a 17-year-old writer, and contributor to the Creative Coterie based in Toronto, Canada. She strives to build communities for young writers through school-based extracurriculars and personal connections.

Sarah Mohammad is a 12th grader in Toronto. When she's not working for school or The Creative Coterie, she has fun drawing and reading. She's currently hunting down the book Artemis by Andy Weir!
