Grandparents' Diary:
Our Words, Our Connections
A Collaborative Zine
Meet Grandparents' Diary, a youth-led non-profit bringing poetry and intergenerational connection to seniors worldwide. Founded in 2022 by students at Iroquois Ridge High School, the organization hosts writing workshops in senior homes to combat dementia and loneliness. Flash forward to 2026, and The Creative Coterie is helping to preserve the words and stories of their elders by putting their creative skills to work. The result is a collaborative zine: The Grandparents' Diary: Our Words, Our Connections.
Inside this publication, you'll find poetry by participants of Grandparents' Diary's workshops, behind-the-scenes photos, and articles written by members of The Creative Coterie.
Special thanks to Grandparents' Diary for sharing their stories.
